Your Weekly Dose of Government Actions

H.RES.790: Supporting the goals and ideals of a national day of remembrance on October 30, 2009, for American nuclear weapons program workers and uranium miners, millers, and haulers.

I don't hate these guys, but this is an awfully large expenditure of time and money just to pat some people on the back.

S.RES.326: A resolution recognizing the 40th anniversary of the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas.

I'm a Republican, but isn't naming an airport after someone recognition enough? Does this have to go on for 40 years?
